Our school values are EffortUnityRespectOrder and AchievementE-U-R-O-A. The ‘Positive Behaviour Support’ (PBS) program is a focus across the school, with students encouraged and recognised for demonstrating the school values. The PBS program is linked to our House Competition (Dunlop, Hollows, Chisholm, and Gilmore). ‘You Can Do It’ develops the habits of the mind and keys to success. Each year Euroa P.S. selects School and House Captains, and encourages students to show leadership and be involved in decision making. We also have a Student Representative Council (SRC).

 Euroa P.S. priorities are English & Mathematics. In English we are running the CAFE Literacy program and the Daily 5.  

Euroa P.S. offers a challenging and supportive learning environment, with experienced dedicated staff, a broad innovative classroom curriculum, and specialist programs for Health & Physical EducationVisual ArtDigital Technology and Japanese. We strive to promote a school culture of academic, sporting and artistic excellence, giving all students opportunity to succeed. We are also sustaining the ‘eSmart’ program to promote smart, safe and responsible use of digital technologies.

 

Breakfast Club runs from 8:30am to 8:50am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings before school. It is free to all students.

Hands on Learning program runs on Tuesdays.

 Before and After School Care - Available every morning and afternoon on schooldays, care available on Curriculum (student free) Days and also providing wonderful Holiday programs.

Facilities

Euroa P.S. has a mixture of historic, renovated and modern, new buildings. We have 8 classrooms, an Art Room, Library, Multi-Purpose Room, and the Schoolhouse building. There is an artificial turf area, activity playground, sand pits, an oval, and some passive areas. The school has an interactive pets area with chickens. Pepe the Turtle is to be found outside our Wellbeing room GReTL and most days Lenny, our graduate Therapy dog, can be seen amongst the students in classrooms or out at play.

Euroa Primary School has just been awarded a $968,270.00 grant for the redevelopment of our playground.
